The building housing the Purple Pub caught fire on March 29. While the Pub wasn't damaged so much, per se, the ventilation and electrical system in the building is shot, and the structural damage to the rest of the building (including foundation) is extensive. The building owner has announced that he doesn't intend to repair and is likely to demolish and re-build. I am talking to more and more people who plan on coming.<br />I've been able to get my Purple Valley Fix regularly of late because my company in Austin was ready to expand to the Northeast, so we opened an office at MassMoCA. My wife has been so enamored with Williamstown in our visits that we have decided to move here! We just put down money on a house but won't close until after Reunion.<br /><br />Good--I didn't want to miss reliving the dorm experience, anyway! So would it be a good example for our kids if we had an indoor waterfight?
